Checklist When Buying Shotcrete Equipment

By Eula Nichols

There are several considerations everyone should make before buying shotcrete equipment. Doing this can help a lot in getting the best item and at the best price. One should check the history of the company selling the equipment. How they handle customers and if there are any complaints. How do they handle the customer complaints that arise. Compare several companies before settling on one and note that prices are not always the most important aspect for any purchase.

Always check the company's history before buying anything from them. Good after sales services should be availed to all customers. If they have so many products being returned or breaking down then the quality if poor. Avoid such companies as much as you can as they will just mess up your projects.

Always set your own quality standards before starting out on the search. This will ensure you don't compromise or do not get confused by the salesmen who are out to make a killing on your indecision. If the products are good you will just know from the market. The reviews will be flowing and you will be able to see how the customers are being dealt with. Compare several suppliers and brands while looking at the customer reviews and quality.

Cost is usually a major factor in any sales for most people. However, one should always look at more than that. The kinds of employees making the equipments will give you a preview of the quality of the products they make. A company with very low routine costs compared to the competitors will surely give you poor quality products.

For each purchase, always ask for a receipt. This is the contract of sale and without it; you may not be eligible for any after sales service. This is the only proof that you bought the item. The companies that do not give receipts are not serious and only leave you exposed as a customer.

The supplier should also be in a position to give a list of their past customers for reference purposes. You can use these to confirm the quality of the service and products they bought. They will also give you the price at which they bought the items so that you don't get overcharged due to ignorance. A list comprising of family members is not reliable as it is cooked to please you.

They should be able to give you a guarantee on the item for some time. A short guarantee simply tells you the quality is not that good. If they have a good reputation they will give you a long warranty and guaranty as they are insured for that. Don't buy an item that does not come with a guaranty that is long enough to allow you test the equipment.

A good brand of shotcrete equipment should be known in the market and not be difficult to find. Do not go for the products that are still new in the market as they may need time to be tested. Don't be one of the test customers who pay. That which has history is the best since you get to know its strengths and weaknesses from other user before buying. Take your time in searching for and assessing the good companies to supply you with such equipment. Be safe and avoid unnecessary stress.
