We live in a world where people are basically on Facebook 24 hours per day, tweeting & sharing videos on social networks. There's no doubt that social media is pretty big and companies are starting to move their advertising dollars to social networks like YouTube where millions of visitors pass by each day. As a business owner you are probably always looking to get the most exposure, well in this article we'll show you how to use social media to your advantage.

One of the bigger obstacles business owners are confronting is not having the time to actually setup social media campaigns and manage their image online. However you should always find the time to review what is being posted or said about your product or services because overnight not only can social media increase your profits but also destroy your business.

If you are using fan pages you can attract attention by writing headlines that the demand attention. Most of the time the headline is what people will see when you make a post. Make your headline so compelling that readers cannot help themselves -- they just have to click! Whether or not your headlines are compelling can easily dictate whether your content will generate traffic, or simply get looked over.

Another great social network is Twitter, although this one is a little tricky you can still build a large following if use the right tools. For example tools like Twellow and Tweepi are two great examples of powerful Twitter tools designed to help you with your Twitter campaigns. However with Twitter you need to identify your target audience and share information that will benefit that audience.
