Can Trailer Graphics Promote The Royal Rumble?

By Michael Robert Peterson

There's no denying the fact that The Royal Rumble is one of the most popular shows World Wrestling Entertainment runs. In fact, it's one of the few that just about any pro wrestling fan get involved in, regardless of how fanatic they are about WWE as a whole. With such a tremendous amount of weight behind this show, wouldn't a greater amount of marketing make sense? I believe this to be true and the idea of using trailer graphics, for instance, would not be too farfetched.

For those who are not in the know, The Royal Rumble is one of the most popular pay-per-view events under the World Wrestling Entertainment umbrella. It's main attraction is the Royal Rumble match, in which a total of 30 wrestlers face off, to throw each other over the top rope. The last man standing is declared the winner and will go on to earn a world title shot at WrestleMania a few months after. To say that the stakes are high would be an understatement.

An event like this deserves to be marketed well, which is where companies like JMR Graphics can come into the picture. The main component I'd like to direct attention to would be trailer graphics, as these items can be designed with not only aesthetic appeal but overall effectiveness in place as well. In addition, they will hold up well over the course of one month, as WWE continually hypes The Royal Rumble. With these ideas in mind, using such graphics makes sense.

If designs are going to be crafted, for the purpose of bringing these graphics to life, shouldn't the actual wrestlers be featured? This is especially important when given the appeal of the Royal Rumble match and the idea that just about anyone stands the chance of winning it. The element of surprise is apparent, as I am sure anyone can attest to. However, it can only be applied through creativity, which is a trait that designers of these very graphics can put into practice.

It's clear that WWE fans, as well as general sports fans, are still going to watch The Royal Rumble. With so much prestige and hype backing up the event in question, it's not hard to see why it has built such a massive audience up until this point. This particular event can be helped through greater advertising and tools like trailer graphics can prove to be quite useful. When these are put into effect, the long-term benefits they possess will prove to be some of the strongest.
