The Health Benefits Of Cacao Tea

When making chocolate from cocoa beans the shell is a byproduct. This shell or husk is not a waste as it is used to make cacao tea. This tea is widely used in many parts of the world with highest numbers of users in Africa. It has many health benefits for the users.

Vitamins and minerals; minerals and vitamins are some of its numerous benefits. The Vitamin C which is greatly needed by the body is found in this cup of tea. The key ingredient used to make this tea is found in the cocoa husks which contain potassium, copper, iron, magnesium and calcium, all necessary for the body functions. When bodies lack these minerals they do not really function as well. One main example is what is used to make red blood cells; iron.

Heart health; minerals found in the cocoa help in keeping your heart health. Magnesium will keep blood flowing due to increase in heart functions from it. To survive our body needs oxygen, copper increases chances of blood cells receive oxygen which is thereafter circulated around by blood. Vitamin E in it will keep your heart health reducing chances of heart disease.

Happy moods; everyone wants to be happy and will just do about anything to be happy. Cacao is one of the ways you can increase your happiness since it increases serotonin enzyme levels in our bodies which is credited with making you happy. It is also said to increase sex drive in couples but this is not scientifically proved.

The brain function; the increase of your brain activity is always beneficial to you because you become alert and lively. Side effects such as headaches are always found in things that increase brain activity; cocoa has the brain activity capabilities without the side effects. The effects of cacao in comparison with caffeine are similar yet cocoa does not have heart problems which is in the case of caffeine thus it is better. There is therefore more health sense whilst drinking this tea.

Fighting illness; diabetes has been one of the main diseases affecting people across all nations and social classes. You and old no one is spared from diabetes. Most people suffering from diabetes there are some foods they are not required to eat so as not to worsen their conditions. Cocoa which is not sweetened can be good for those looking for something to drink since it doesn't increase the levels of sugar in blood and it leads to improvement in cell function.

Antioxidants; cacao comes loaded with antioxidants compounds equivalent to those found in fruits, grains and vegetables. The use of antioxidants in our bodies is slowing down the aging process which most people don't like to be associated with. Cacao gives you higher antioxidants than that in green tea or in red wine. This tea will give you almost same amount of antioxidants to those in blueberries.

Listing all its benefits is almost impossible as some of them have not been found. For a healthier life, you can keep it in your kitchen cabinet; surprisingly it was once thought to be waste. Every person's wish is a long and healthy life, cocoa tea is the answer to that, because it improves serotonin in your body.
